My Story

I am a longtime practitioner of western medicine, a holistic clinical herbalist, and a psychedelic guide with the purpose to integrate modern medicine with ‘alternative’ healing practices. I graduated magna cum laude in my class as I received my Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Colorado, completed 910 hours of classroom, field, and clinical education at the renowned Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism, and have trained extensively with Daniel McQueen of Medicinal Mindfulness through experiential and didactic education in transpersonal mindfulness based skills and psychedelic journey facilitation.

I have been a practicing nurse in critical care for over a decade, several of those years being in the ICU. It was through nursing that I discovered my healing nature and ability to create trusting relationships where shared vulnerability is most valued. Unfortunately, It was also where I discovered the manner in which western medicine completely disregards the emotional and spiritual body, and simply treats symptoms, not the whole human. This awareness brought me to study Vitalist medicine and herbalism, which focuses on the entire human experience while utilizing nutrition and herbs to assist the body in healing.

After working with clients in this way, I continued to witness that many of the inflammatory processes that contribute to chronic illness are driven by persistent challenging emotional states. Stress is the most obvious emotion causing a cascade of cellular damage and affecting the epigenetic environment in a negative way. In conjunction with these hormonal releases, we also develop coping mechanisms as an attempt to regulate our nervous systems, some of which can turn unbalanced and thus unhealthy. These repetitive behaviors can be anything from alcohol and cigarettes, to what is less commonly considered addictive; exercise and work, all of which can increase the inflammatory pathways that in time, lead to chronic tissue changes.

On my personal healing journey, I applied these observations to myself and ventured into the world of intentional psychedelic therapy. These psychedelic experiences have continued to lead me to the root of my behaviors and the unbalanced coping mechanisms that I developed in order to calm my nervous system.  They have allowed for the continued healing of deep preverbal wounds while integrating outcasted parts of myself as I move through shadow work. I realized that psychedelics truly allow for holistic healing and pursued training in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy to supplement my work as an herbalist and holistic health practitioner. One cannot heal the body without working towards healing the spirit, as the opposite is true as well. Plant medicines, psychedelic or otherwise, have brought me to living in alignment with my purpose - helping the world heal by being of service to my fellow humans.

Whether it’s to heal your physical body, your emotional body, or your spiritual connection, I am here to hold your hand and guide you toward wholeness. I have years of experience with thousands of patients, extensive knowledge of the physiology of chronic illness, and considerable experience with the transformative healing that can occur in the psychedelic terrain of consciousness. I will guide you to your inner guru and your reconnection to self and Mama Earth utilizing the alchemy of plant medicine.
