I used to LOVE to smoke a cig here and there while chit-chatting with friends. Then I started working as a nurse and witnessed firsthand the terrible damage that smoking does to one's health. So I quit. But I do miss the 'act of smoking' sometimes. The social aspect, the feeling of combustion of something in the lungs..... Maybe I'm a bad nurse for stating this.
I was introduced to smoking medicinal herbs and it has been such a treat on occasion. Occasion being the key word! Let's not forget that combustion of smoke in the lungs causes harm when done consistently. But as the occasional treat of partaking in a social moment with friends enjoying a nice little herbal smoke? I'm in.
